Despite its lackluster performance and eerie production history, “The Fantastic Four” enjoys a cult classic status among die-hard fans. And luckily for the stars of the ill-fated film, their careers were not derailed by this infamous project.
While none of the leads achieved A-list Hollywood status, they continued to work in the entertainment industry. Alex Hyde-White, who portrayed Reed Richards, persevered in his acting career despite the film’s failure.
Prior to his role as Mr. Fantastic, Hyde-White had minor credits in movies like “Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade” and “Pretty Woman.” He went on to appear in small roles in notable films such as “Catch Me If You Can” and “The Adventures of Tintin.” He even made an appearance ina 2015 episode of Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” playing an English Hydra agent.
Hyde-White remains active in the industry, with recent work in Jordan Peele’s critically acclaimed film “Nope” and various television roles.
